Anyone help? Girlfriend needs a job...
Just got fired this morning from her job that was looking like it was going to be her career as a non emergency ambulance driver... Rear ended someone in the bad weather last thursday and they said she doesnt have enough time there to get a pass on an accident that she was at fault for....
We're moving to Jackson at the end of the month. The closer to route 9 and countyline it is the better. Full time would be best something in the $9 range an hr and up.... |
Maybe UPS or FedEx. Not that anyone gets the job right off the bat, but I just read a UPS Truck driver can make upwards of $70K per year. Of course you have to be able to lift 70 lbs or more, have your CDL, and have to start off working as a package handler for a few years. Not a feminine job, but still can lead to something good.
Hotels are usually good as well, be it front desk or AYS(at Your Service)/answering phone calls, providing directions, taking room service orders, etc. There are plenty administrative/receptionist/data entry jobs to be had on Craigslist in the Jackson area that pay $12 or more per hour. |
dont take this the wrong way, but how hot is she?.... my company has an office in ocean county thats always looking for direct care people, but the boss out there only hires hot girls
|
bed bath and beyond lol its easy and tell her to write 10/hour on the application

On a serious note, summer's hittin soon, I am sure Great Adventure & Jackson Outlets will be hiring. |
yeah...another non feminine job is wawa gas attendant, ive heard they pay ok
|
Seems like six flags is always hiring. Not a dream job, but they could probably find something for her to do. Kinda close to where you're going to be, but she might be disappointed by the pay depending on the position.
There's an abundance of restaurants around the Freehold Mall too, she'd make well over $9/hr on a busy night waiting tables. As far as an entry-level jobs, waitress will probably pay the best. |
if she doesnt mind working graveyard, i work at target stocking the store overnight for almost 12/hr day shift is roughly 9 i believe
|
there are a ton of ambulance companies around the jackson area and i know that the company GEM is always hiring and they are over by blue claws. But idk what their policy is on previous accidents.

lol well its not my fault that your gf lost her job for something that was her own fault, then come on here crying about it. people all over are looking for jobs, she shouldve been more careful about hers. cheese and wine, cheese and whine...you can have more crackers but none of mine  |
Does she have a Class B CDL? If so, my boss is desperate looking for people. I work for Jay's Bus Service in Lakewood driving a school bus {not far from jackson at all, right off Cross St. is the bus yard}. Let me know, i can put in a good word for her and even train her for her School Bus and passenger endorsements.

At what point did I ever say her loosing her job wasnt her fault? In fact Im pretty sure it says right in my post that she couldnt get a pass on an accident that was her fault. I simply asked if anyone knew anyone looking for help in the area. No **** theres a lot of people looking for jobs. Why do you think Im on a forum asking for a heads up if anyone knows of any places looking for help in the area? You think Id be asking for a little help if you could walk out the door and get 5 job offers in a day like a few years ago? Like I said typical douche responses like you give everyone. Quote:
