So now im sure this is a little out there haha but she wanted her 05 focus to lets say stand out from the crowd. so for the past 3 weeks or so i have been trying to come up with ideas for her car and this is was ended up happening lol. we painted it Jet Black and Hot Pink with a red pearl clear coat. Put in some LED taillights and halo headlights. So i know it doesnt appeal to everyone but let me know what you guys think about it.

so I found a Body kit online that was supposed to fit on the car but like usual they never get the years right and it turns out it wasnt even close to fitting on this car. So i heated up the front bumper and molded it into the shape we needed. By doing this it still wasnt close to fitting right so we then had to weld a small plate of metal and then rivet it onto the bumper to get our shape. So now the front end is a one piece clip. The rear bumper, we took the body kit and cut it into pieces and attached it to the stock rear bumper. then after the front and rear were held on the car in place, the lovely fiberglass/bondo adventure began haha.

The compact car scene isn't my cup of tea, but I think you did a great job on the bodywork! I like the paint scheme (Minus the red clearcoat overlay, but the photos probably don't do it justice); very nice lines in my opinion. Did you do all of this in your driveway, or do you work in a shop?

btownws6 04-19-2011 03:45 PM

thanks i did all this at my shop in freehold. and 86ta we should have them take some pics together haha. matt- yea it was the brightest pink we could find haha and she didnt know about all the body work until i was done so she was pretty surprised

jts98z28 04-19-2011 05:45 PM

Rich189 04-28-2011 01:44 PM

Not my cup of tea but I can apperiate the work that went into it. You need to fix those buffer trails though

NastyEllEssWon 04-28-2011 01:48 PM

do not want

Frosty 04-28-2011 02:45 PM

I can appreciate the work that went into it(as others have said) but the end result looks like an aborted fetus. But, if the wife is happy then that means you're happy and that's all that matters right? ;)
