NFL Draft

I am no expert or anything by why do the Eagles choose a 26yr old 1st round O-lineman?? 26yrs old... This guy better be a Tre Thomas caliber player... 26 seems to be a little 2 old for a 1st round draft pick..

Yeah I'm kind of scratching my head on this one too.

Maybe they drafted him to be a coach?

I was watching when the interviewed Reid, and he was going on and on about how the guy only has 2 football years on his body, so in reality he's younger in football years than all the ~22 year olds that are just graduating after playing 4 years of highschool and 4-5 years of college ball.

Of course, this guy played hockey first, and hockey players never have injuries, right?

Just like when the Phillies signed Raul To and said he was a young 37 yr old.. Now 2 years later he looks like he is done!!
