Can someone guesstimate horsepower on a 04 5.3L + mods?
 

My friend just got an 04 suburban with the 5.3L and we plan on doing some mods to it to make it a little more fun.

I'm giving him a list of mods but i'm not sure on how much power he'll get from everything collectively.

Mods will be

Longtubes + exhaust (not sure if it will be dual or not)
Mild cam
Stall
Tune
Cold Air Intake

can give me a ballpark idea?

I'd say maybe 340-360hp depending on the cam

Stock it's rated for 295/330 so I would second around what Vin said, largely dependent on cam selection.

Might want to add in E-fans from an 05+ truck too. They will bolt right in (just need to add a harness like the one nelson makes) and make a nice difference. They are controlled by the factory pcm once tuned for them.

well it comes with 799 (same as 243) heads. depends on how "mild" the cam is
