looking for advice on electric fan set up

I have a 68 camaro running a 350 & 700r4 trans & cooler in front of rad.

I am looking for extra cooling with some electric fans I am looking to mount them from the front as i have a flex fan & shroud.

these will be heavy duty but axillary fans that will kick on & off by temperature automaticly when ignition is on

any advice? Az :moon:

mounting them like that may actually impede airflow and cause overheating on the highway.

my experience is dump the flex fans. wait, do you have any cooling problems now?

yes i have the original radiator that came with the car (327 2 barrel)

I had the radiator recored & water pump is brand new

Im running between 180 & 200 on short runs ( 10 miles ), its not even hot yet

I know i probably have to get a new bigger radiator but im trying to get at least 1 season out of it & get a new radiator over the winter.

If it were my car, I'd dump the flex fan and either replace it with a stock clutch fan, which are far batter units, or go electric.

I did 4th gen fans in my 77
