Lowering Car Qs

thinkin about pickin up some lower springs for the car(yes yours Matt P) but i got a few questions. first off, drag racing. i have a set of ajustable drag shocks id be throwing in. so what would happen with the drag shocks and lowering springs? how would it effect the launch and what not? also tire clearance. i plan on running a 275/60/15 tire on the back. is the gunna bring me problems?

ill also be puttin on LCAs,LCA relos and SFC on at the same time.

You are going all kinds of rubbing issues with this setup.

1. Your going to need an adjustable panhard bar (to center the rear)

2. Depending on what brand of SFC you use, they hang lower than most of your suspension and will scrap on just about every dip and driveway.

3. Your drag shocks will cause the tires to rub inside your fenderwells with the car lowered on a hard launch.

4. Lowered springs are usually put on a car for looks and better handling (with wider tires) NOT for drag racing.

Just lower the front some, that's what I did. You could buy adjustable fronts and set the ride height you want.
