R/C SR71

Was probably a ton of work. No he does not crash it. Yes he is apparently wearing his wife's jeans. LOL.

My favorite plane of all time. closest I ever got to flying one was my Estes model rocket.... I think this trump it though.

edpontiac91 10-28-2011 06:10 AM

Awesome, there is a company on YouTube that has about 2 dozen models with some guy flying them and all of them look like the real thing with wheels that retract and jet like sounds.

Those things are fast. I own and for rc planes. The jet ones use real turbine engines and have a start uP and shut down sequence. They are crazy fast and ridiculous to fly

BigAls87Z28 10-30-2011 11:53 PM

That is insane and totally awesome.

usp55 10-31-2011 09:18 AM

I had no idea they made rc planes to these massive scales!
Thanks Bill I just spent my entire morning going from one youtube video to the next.

WildBillyT 10-31-2011 09:25 AM

Yikes at the power lines in that vid ^

BonzoHansen 10-31-2011 09:34 AM

Man, those are drones!

In the US do things that big come under FAA regs? Damn.

I thought I had a stupid expensive hobby :)

1994lt1 10-31-2011 11:56 AM

The only thing with these jet engine r/c planes is when they crash, they crash big.

T69SS 11-07-2011 04:17 PM

That is seriously awesome
