Tough Mudder Virginia 10/23
 

Me and seven other idiots....I mean friends went to Virginia last weekend for Tough Mudder. Thanks to Nick - AntiRiceGuy for putting the idea in my head. It started out extremely cold with frost and some flurries but warmed up to be a perfect day. This was harder than I could have ever imagined x10! I was not nearly prepared and slowed down my team the whole time but they were cool about it considering it was a first for all of us. Truly a one of a kind experience and we are looking forward to doing it again, this time I will train much harder. Ok, enough with my story, here are the pics. And for those of you who dont know me, Im the short fat guy with the mohawk/venom!

looks fun. I think next year I will eventually do one. It seems like a great motivation to get into really good shape.

We were muddy but there was a guy in the turd's nest with a fire hose!!

A lot of the guys I went with have busy careers so, I think we are just going to shoot for VA next year too. They will have more time to train over the summer. Although I think 1 or 2 of them are going to PA to compete for times.

Why wouldn't you just shoot for NJ next fall and save a lot of money?

It was a nice weekend away, so I didnt mind going to VA but I did notice they pushed up the date for NJ next year.

I was just posting because it was quite an accomplishment to finish the event. Well, it was for me anyway. I know its popularity is growing and I thought I'd share for those who were thinking of doing it.
