plow question

im picking up a 1989 k5 blazer that has a western 7'5 plow setup i was wondering if i can take the plow set up off the k5 blazer and make it work on my 88 gmc k1500 pick up

Two different frame styles (although both are half tons).
I want to say the 88 K1500 frame is actually wider than the 89 K5 frame but I don't know for sure that it will not work.

Worse case scenario you spend a few bucks on another plow frame.

I can measure a K5 blazer frame this weekend if you'd like and then compare it to an 88 frame that I have.

I know the axles in the K5/K10 is narrower than the 88-98 body style and the frame is narrower behind the motor mounts. I imagine it means the entire frame is narrower but I don't want to jump to conclusions. I actually have an 87 K10 plow mount I can line up on my 1997 (1988 frame under the truck) tomorrow after work if you'd like to know for sure.

pretty sure the frames are different...most IFS meant plow setups i see don't mount up the same as the solid axle setups
