Plan on driving with no plates?

You mean no more inspection.

Plates came from dealer, renewal of registration comes in mail.

And hence, and hence, and hence.

no inspection as long as its not commercial, and over 8800gvw

zraffz 12-02-2011 04:24 PM

I believe it's 9,999 and heavier, non commercial vehicles are exempt from state inspection but you are supposed to keep a log book of self inspections.

Entry 1: Noted myself removing stock exhaust, and replacing with large sewer pipe.

while you are not subject to a state emissions inspection at a facility just be mindful of the the wonderful "Mobile Inspection centers" that have been popping up in various parts of the state. just remember regardless of wheather or not you need to go through inspection tampering with an emissions system is still illegal...but its condusive to more power and the smell of unburnt diesel

Mobile inspections I believe test to see if your running regular diesel or off road
