WildBillyT 12-01-2011 04:52 PM

There is a reason why it is illegal to carry bottles of gas like that in a passenger car. He is lucky to be alive in spite of his stupidity.

BigRocsFirebird 12-01-2011 05:28 PM

if your car is clutterd with **** just put a tank it the back and in seconds its clean!

coolmanvette75 12-01-2011 06:21 PM

Wow thats nuts! Lucky to be alive indeed

zraffz 12-01-2011 07:05 PM

Holy sh**!

On another note, I remember watching someone fill an upside down garbage bag with acetylene and closing it with a rubber band, putting a 55 gallon drum on top of it and making a fuse out of a gas trail. Talk about insane.

I watched a guy weld on an old upside down 55 gallon drum of some chemical. He was fine but it blew the drum up to the ceiling of the warehouse.

trashman01 12-01-2011 07:59 PM

that guy is lucky to be alive, but if your carring a bottle of gas or any type of gas like that unstrapped, deserve what happens

mc73nova 12-01-2011 08:14 PM

Sadly, this is nothing new. There is a pic of an 80's Chevy Caprice that is destroyed from the same thing on the wall where we get our tanks filled, to remind everyone what can happen. Every time I see it, it amazes me, I always go with a pick up!

PolarBear 12-02-2011 01:53 PM

Thats what you get for not putting the cylinder cap back on while transporting a dangerous gas.

On a side note, thats pretty cool what it did to the vehicle.

chrisfrom nj 12-02-2011 05:34 PM

insurance job or a mob hit the guy is lucky to be alive

Very lucky guy, should count blessings for a long time.

V 12-05-2011 11:43 AM

hmmm... i think it actually helped with the look of the vehicle.
