I did the brakes on my brother's(used to be mine, sold it to him for 1000 :( ) buick regal gs for a christmas present for him and his wife. I noticd the brakes were bad when i saw rust dust on the one wheel. i've never seen a rotor this bad.....the brake pad was completely gone.

ive seen worse, when i was in high school a dude had a 88 5.0 t-bird, it came in with the brake piston buried into the vents of the rotor

if this had vents...it would have been that far. it was less than have the thickness it was supposed to be...haha

Sorry to say I've seen worse. But that is still bad

BigAls87Z28 12-22-2011 08:34 PM

Yeah, same thing. Realize these people are driving next to you and even worse...right behind you.

Remember this when you think about how there are no longer safety inspections in NJ.

i saw them more than you'd like with safety inspections. I don't think it matters

I let this happen to my truck over the Summer. The brakes never squealed but I knew they were getting bad. And then when I finally got around to it, I couldn't believe I still had brakes.

Ive had it where I pulled the rear wheel off of an Explorer and the rotor was split into an inner ring and an outer ring. That was pretty bad
