I would buy it but I need to sell my rear first, unless you want to do a swap of some sort.

stock rebuilt 10 bolt with 3:42's

PM me with details about your rear. Might be cheaper than me fixing mine.

98F-1camaro 01-24-2012 09:28 AM

The rear is in my car still. I'm only selling it if I have a rear to put back in it....which I don't.

creeper 01-24-2012 12:20 PM

WildBillyT if you want to buy the 3.42 rear I bought to swap in then maybe I can just trade with 98F-1. Is yours 3 channel 98F-1? then we could avoid swapping backing plates and everything

It's just a stock 3.42 rear, gave it a real quick coat of paint recently. I don't know miles or anything on it but I got it from a trustworthy member that said it was in perfect working order.

** or if WBT buys the one in your car then you can just buy this one, currently still in my car because I'm been pressed for time lately

98F-1camaro 01-24-2012 01:31 PM

the rear in my car now is actually a 4 channel, but I'm looking for a 3 channel as my car does not have traction control.

WildBillyT 01-24-2012 02:30 PM

LOL. I'm confused.

I'd be game for picking up a 3.42 3 channel rear but it's gotta be a low mile/rebuilt unit or priced right. My current one is a 3.42 with 156k on it and I don't want to replace it with something that's only marginally better.

creeper 01-24-2012 08:28 PM

hahah okay well I'll just stick to my plan, swap my 3.42 rear in and keep this one up for sale

Camarokid08731 02-01-2012 08:23 AM

Pm me the details I am interested

creeper 02-01-2012 10:30 PM

what's posted in the thread is pretty much all I know about it haha

I'm in 07417, still in the car at the moment if anyone wants to see that it is in perfect working order, probably (hopefully) coming out this weekend

Camarokid08731 02-05-2012 12:52 PM

I'll give you $250 and pick it up next weekend...PM me and let me know...

creeper 02-05-2012 10:10 PM

sending PM

creeper 03-23-2012 10:25 PM

bump, original post updated, it's out of the car

01ws6TA 03-30-2012 10:20 AM

If you leave the backing plates on ill give you 275 in however long it takes me to drive from my house to yours

creeper 05-22-2012 09:49 PM

price drop so I can pay some bills

86FireChickn 06-03-2012 10:41 AM

Interested, would this bolt up to a stock 3.8 auto with stock suspension? Also is it posi?

creeper 06-03-2012 10:54 PM

yes, as long as it does not have traction control! and yep it's a posi

townsend 06-12-2012 07:49 PM

you still have it? did the posi work before removal? anything is better than my 200,000 mile 2.73 rear
