for some reason when i look at it i think ford GT with the headlights

I see Viper SRT-8 and Aston Martin in there.

I thought Aston Martin when I saw the front. Looks awesome in the back though.

I think the cover is deceiving you guys into the aston martin look. Looks pretty tall though and when did they let big al test drive non-production vettes?

Headlight/Parking light is stacked, grill is smaller in height and wider, nose is flat not inward, and that's about all's I can see :lol:

Yea you're right. The cover gives it that mouth thingy like an Aston Martin.

without the ford GT hood, i see the headlights and grill/lower fascia to be similar

i think its ugly, maybe it will grow on me. i hope it does idk how i could deal with not liking a vette

why in hell are they driving it in the snow? Do they really need to test it in the snow? I don't think anyone in their right mind would take their zr1 out in rain, let alone snow.

That's like saying a girl isnt hot because shes under the covers...these photos don't really reveal enough to make conclusions.

To me it looks like a rehash of the C6. If your going to come up with the replacement for the C6, then redesign the entire body with a look that says WOOOW right out of the box. I think the Ford GT was a very sexy design, take a look at any Lambo, McClaren or any Italian sports and they all look like a jet fighter. They seem to make changes in small steps so as to not alienate the past owners, but love it or hate it, I think the Vet in the Transformers was awesome.

still looks to heavy, get its at least under 2,600lbs.

The C6 is as sexy as I think it can be. Car is just down right goregous & driving it is just awesome. Keep the C6 design & F' the c7

I probably would have said that about the stingray back in like '63 if i was alive back then. Things always get better, as for the c7 Ill wait and see.. its too soon to tell with all that body covered up. :2cents:

c6 was just a remake of the c5 :)

Jalopnik's renderings are 95% accurate. The renderings are of a ZR1 model, not the base model, so expect changes.

Cars are tested everywhere, in every condition, as hard as one can drive a car. That's what happens when you have a new car. Camaro was tested on just about every single continent with a paved road. Same for the new 911, and for any high-brow car. ****, even the new Malibu was put to the extremes.

And if you are trying to pull a design based on a heavily camo'ed car with NON production headlights, well you guys have at it.
