i finally had some time off from work so i wanted to slap the front end together and see what shims and what not i needed, its not a final alignment but everything is somewhat close to perfect, just needs to tweaks here and there
Enjoy!

lines up pretty dam good!

sweetbmxrider 02-05-2012 09:23 AM

Would look pretty mean if you went black with the car :)

Lt1_8U 02-05-2012 10:12 AM

yeah it lined up pretty well, the gaps are all nice, nothing out of wack

i was debating doing it black, time will tell lol. they do look good in black:twisted:

WildBillyT 02-05-2012 11:58 AM

Looks nice with the metal on there!

Be careful with the lower part of your fenders though. Rocker area/door lines don't seem to match 100% which is typical for some brands of repro nova fenders.

Lt1_8U 02-05-2012 01:09 PM

it actually looks like a car now! haha the drivers side lines up perfect, i dont have the bottom of the fender bolted but i did it today but the passenger side needs some work:facepalm: lol its such a PITA

1984camaroz28 02-05-2012 03:10 PM

LS1ow 02-05-2012 03:17 PM

Featherburner 02-05-2012 04:16 PM

Love the Nova! Looking good. Keep it Gold!

Lt1_8U 02-05-2012 04:18 PM

thanks guys, ive got some time to decide but this is one of the hardest decisions haha black or gold:facepalm:

r0nin89 02-06-2012 11:16 PM

Holy crap is that a nova where the fenders dont ride 1/2in over the top of the hood!?

Anti_Rice_Guy 02-07-2012 08:50 AM

Gold would be baller. You just had a black car.

Gold. Your original color is very nice!

Jersey Mike 02-07-2012 07:27 PM

Black Novas don't do much for me. Someone in my high school had a 2nd Gen Nova in blue with dual white stripes that looked hands-down amazing.

Something like this shade of blue:

that camaro looks great in that color with those stripes! i need to find a nova with this paint and those stripes. the color is autumn gold i believe according to the paint code 58 58. if i were to paint it a different color id stick with black but that blue is a very nice color

I also vote gold...add some 17" Coys C5s with flat black spokes and you'd be set!

You should get some 17s - that whole frontend is a major upgrade to make the car handle better. Why waste it with some crappy skinny 15's? :)
