400sbc for sale
 

Trying to sell my 400 sbc with gmpp vortec heads, cam and performer rpm intake, the motor has a Melling oil pump, chromoly pushrods, new litters, new pro form 1.5 ratio self aligning rocker arms, valve covers and an oil pan that fits a thirdgen.

It's everything minus carburetor and headers. I am asking $1500 but if you come with an engine hoist and help me remove it I'll take $1200 since I don't have a hoist. These heads cost about $1200 when you add the springs and machining. Cam specs - 234/244 @ .050" .488"/.510", 114 LSA

What pistons rods and crank ? How many miles. Any passes. What HP numbers

Was told it was a stock rebuild, everything looked fresh when the heads were off. I probably have put 500 miles on it since 09, never made a pass, pulled stronger than my ls1 and the combo went high 11's low 12's at 110ish in a 3700 pound second gen with long tubes and more compression..

Sold as is, needs a crank bolt and a rocker arm adjustment to complete. Trying to get that done ASAP so A buyer can hear it run..
