It's hard to see in the pic, but the driver's side rear quarter looks a bit dented up. Not sure if that's from the awesome woodwork, or if it was rear-ended, and this was the owner's solution to pocket some insurance money.

I wanna know how well the hatch seals....would be interesting to get a good look at it and see how everything was attached.

A little sanding for aerodynamics and they're set.

Finally, I can park in the city without worry. Upside down emblem, FTW.

shadowfire 02-20-2012 05:36 AM

sweetbmxrider 02-20-2012 07:21 AM

I have no words.

edpontiac91 02-20-2012 10:04 AM

I get a woodie just looking at that. Now he just has to buy 5 gallons of Porch & Deck sealer to keep out the termites.

1320B4U 02-20-2012 10:16 AM

Hate those cars....hate this one even more. Hope during bouts of extreme humidity the wood swells soo much they can't open the doors.

madness410 02-20-2012 12:54 PM

looks like he's trying to caulk his vehicle so he can cross a river like in that game Oregon trail

z28camaro94 02-20-2012 01:31 PM

have to admit the guy did a decient job. i wonder how much weight that added to the back end and how much less gas mileage they lost

Tru2Chevy 02-20-2012 03:23 PM

The driver was a woman who looked to be in her mid-late 20s, and the wood definitely had some sort of sealer on it.

where is this car located so i can rear end it with my steel bumper and make saw dust.

Tru2Chevy 02-20-2012 06:03 PM

Photos were taken in Princeton, heading northbound on Rt 1 at the intersection of 1 and 571 (Washington Rd). Maryland plates though, and I didn't notice any obvious college parking permit stickers, so could just be in town for the holiday weekend.

Original, half decent job. You really cant make a Prius look worse anyway.
