Good news for you 4l60 guys
Energy suspension has finally come up with a poly trans mount for the 4th gen camaros with the 4l60(m30) trans. They are pouring the mounts as we speak and are available for order(eventhough it will take a month to get, bc they are still making them). The part number is 3.1142G/R. G for black and R for red.
I already have my order in and might be the first to get one!! So get'em up guys!! |
This is news? I been using poly mounts in my 4th gens for years.

Different shape, they played around with the durometer of the material, has a slight offset, and leverages the interlocking feature better. |
yup cant wait. puttin in a stocker for now till i get the new one
|
bout time! i went thru SO many with my 95Z28 lol
|
Uh what?
I have had a poly on my car since I owned it pretty much... not sure what the change is? |

Yes I can read, but can you test to verify they actually changed something and this is not a marketing ploy?
|
I bet its twice as expensive as the polys that have been out. Its probably also a lower durometer than the polys out now since everyone complains about the extra vibration, which would mean the current polys would still be better from a performance perspective.

Seeing as how people break the existing poly mounts with pretty stock setups I'd say something is not quite right with the universal ones. |
Break rubber ones? Yes. Polys? Never heard of it.
I bet it has one threaded hole instead of 3. |

Glad the one I picked up had the three threaded holes.

Can't tell too much. Looks like the other one aside from what appears to be extra material up the middle. Vs http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ENS-3-1108R/?rtype=10 |
Meh for the actual market of auto 4th gens I just cannot see them putting much into this, especially now all of a sudden. Skeptical pal is skeptical
