Lookin to build a shed, few questions

So I want to build a shed for my motorcycle (and possibly other stuff)

I see the vinyl and wood sheds at lowes/home depot, the metal ones look to be too flimsy.

i know each town is different but does anyone have a general idea of at what point (size) do i need to get permits and such? whether it has a floor or not? what size would i be able to get away with?

I tried looking on my township site but couldn't find a clear description of what things are needed.

The shed i want would be around 8' long and at least 6' high

Depends on the footing and if you have to pour a slap or not IIRC.

I think if it's a permanant structure you need a permit

Call your township. In my town a 100sf. shed can be built without a permit but that has happened since I built my shed.

You must call your township. Nobody can tell you off of the top of their heads, and even if you look it up it can be old information.
