Registering your classic car?

So I just got an 84 camaro. It's a project but fully running and had QQ tags on it. Now I just registered it as a normal car so I could have it on the road. I believe only a few DMV locations, like trenton, do this registration. I've tried reading online but no clear cut answers. How do I go about doing this? Do I call them, email them? Use snail mail for sending a receiving the right info?
Please help :-?

Visit select motor vehicle agencies in:
Eatontown
Flemington
Manahawkin
North Bergen
Runnemede
Somerville
Washington
Salem

You can do it at any of these.

salem isn't to far from me, thanks. So would I just need to bring current registration, pictures and other info for normal reg? Will they let me register it again but now for QQ plates? And do I need the classic insurance first or the registration? I assume reg but i've never done this, thanks again.

Thanks so much! All questions answered right there, mostly.

1. when filling out the application what's the body type & weight class for my 84 camaro?

2. What's a courtesy historic plate?

1.) No idea
2.) A QQ with custom letters/numbers on it. I did this because it was a one-time fee.

Ok thought so, thanks.
Am i correct in my thinking QQ insurance is cheaper? I know there's milage and driving restrictions.
Also do i HAVE to have historic insurance on my historic registered car?

That information is on the title of your vehicle.

Also you need specific pictures of the car, I outlined this here but This is a guide on how they want the pictures taken

Need a picture of the front and side of the car, Any kind of insurance. Mine has Liability only. There is no mile restrictions on the tags and they have to be renewed every 3 yrs but there is no fees for that.
