Jersey Shore Dyno Tune?

Anyone know of a good shop I can bring my 91 firebird to dyno tune? i just swapped in a new L98 with plenty of mods and want to getthat done.

I have heard Tune Time was good. But I don't have any first hand experience with them

Ask for Matt @ Tune Time in Toms River. Tell him Curt sent ya. He'll take care of you & get it tuned right.

For a stock 91 ecm, you will need to find someone that can burn chips. If you have an aftermarket management system, a tune will be a lot easier to come by.

greenformula92 03-23-2012 08:18 PM

My car is getting dyno tuned tomorrow at Tune Time. So far, they have done a good job with my headers. I'll let you know the results tomorrow.

EODMonkey 04-04-2012 12:44 AM

what do they charge for a tune session?

methdmx 04-04-2012 01:07 PM

$300 is their normal rate I believe

methdmx 04-09-2012 05:22 PM

After a few delays, I finally got my car dyno tuned today. With just a lid and full exhaust, my car made 319hp 322tq.

91FBirdDropTop 04-10-2012 06:31 PM

what should i expect to pay for a dyno tune on a 91 L98? I know the memcal ecm's are a pain in the ass

methdmx 04-10-2012 06:36 PM

Like S.J.SLEEPER said, call Matt at Tune Time and just ask 732-349-7800. He's a cool guy and very knowledgeable.

Yeah that sounds about right. His lot is usually filled with stuff they are working on. they are never slow.

He means that they are a pain in the ass for him because everytime he wants to change the tune he has to burn a new PROM. if he has to burn 3 or 4 different PROM's you could see how this would be a pain
