WildBillyT 03-23-2012 10:01 AM

There is a 90% chance that Rick James is playing on the radio in that Camaro.

BonzoHansen 03-23-2012 10:01 AM

And perhaps cold blooded

Featherburner 03-23-2012 10:07 AM

$1.18 for gas!

BonzoHansen 03-23-2012 10:07 AM

Or perhaps foreginer's hot blooded

V 03-23-2012 10:29 AM

wouldn't $1.18 for gas have been considered expensive then?

I only say that because when I began driving in '97, super was less than that then. regular was under a buck.

BonzoHansen 03-23-2012 10:31 AM

depends on when that is I suppose. but it would be great now.

sweetbmxrider 03-23-2012 10:39 AM

Also depends where....I like the cash only/no credit cards sign

Also looks like its $1.14 for regular and the ARCOclear is $1.18!

that was '73. id date this pic at around 1978. give or take 2 years.

edit: from some quick research, that price could match up to late 79-early 80 prices. It also seems gas price from 79-97 only changed in very small increments. then later jumped after 1999.

WildBillyT 03-23-2012 11:12 AM

I'd bet post or during the model year of 1979.

:D

V 03-23-2012 11:17 AM

lol i figured the year of the car would be a clue. i just don't know 2 nd gens well enough.

z28camaro94 03-23-2012 11:49 AM

wow gas was that high is the 80's....i remember when i moved to OC in 1996 regular was .79 cents a gal on the island.....so wat happened?

8hnpSS 03-23-2012 12:12 PM

1.18!! i wish it was that cheap now

1320B4U 03-23-2012 12:24 PM

Shes holding that hose w/the classic 'hung fu' grip

Featherburner 03-23-2012 12:40 PM

Looks like California, gas is always more expensive in California.

WildBillyT 03-23-2012 12:44 PM

It's a 76 station. It was an Arco's website.

I ignore your reality, and replace it with that of my own.

sweetbmxrider 03-23-2012 01:49 PM
