New Impala

http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...impala-109854/

Quick look: 2.5, 2.4 eAssist, and 3.6 available all new chassis and all new safety features. This is the new face of Chevrolet

Frosty 04-04-2012 01:46 AM

Good, the current Impala is so damn boring looking. The new design looks good....I like the interior.

EODMonkey 04-04-2012 04:36 AM

ooooo thats one hell of a sexy interior. almost bmw looking

Blackbirdws6 04-04-2012 04:44 AM

Huge improvement. Rear fender seems scaled awkwardly when compared to the front and the steering wheel is a little odd. Just nitpicking but the rest looks great, especially the interior.

LS1ow 04-04-2012 06:11 AM

im digging the front of it... also the fact that they didnt use "Camaro Ispired" Tail lights is great.

not a fan of the audi a7 style rear slant back its got going on

LOL. I was just going to say it reminds me of an A7.

I think it's a massive step forward. Very good work out of GM.

Anti_Rice_Guy 04-04-2012 08:22 AM

Looks very elegant, especially with the integrated exhaust and interior.

NJ346 04-04-2012 10:35 AM

I really like it. Any chance we see a turbo charged 6 cylinder available as an SS after launch?

KevinW 04-04-2012 10:42 AM

I like it too! too bad I will not be able to afford it anytime soon :( Just gonna keep my 2004 Impala running until the wheels fall off :)

I saw one of these last month at Country Chevy...blew me away on a 2013 coming out soo early. I like it...more new age instead of the rental car look gm is sooo known for (think cobalt 4door and old impala). Gm seems to be putting a lot of thought in interior fit and finish now...esp as evidenced by the new malibu and even my wife's equinox w/the mood/soft lighting and all.

NJ Torque 04-04-2012 12:27 PM

Looks like the new M...

8hnpSS 04-04-2012 12:58 PM

they stole that steering wheel from the s550 lol. looks good tho definitely a change from the old

What Mike said, you didn't see the Impala at any dealer. There are maybe a dozen in existence, they are all hand-built, and the only two that exist outside of Milford Proving Grounds are the two that they showed today.

Tru2Chevy 04-04-2012 04:56 PM

Really love the new front end! Looks like a really nice design overall, huge improvement.

Maybe...looking at the new 'bu it has a similiar roofline but a 2013 in early march..little too early for the next year.

Iroc-z86 04-05-2012 07:43 AM

its about time chevy is stepping it up. Very nice car. should put a nice dent in the competition.

sweetbmxrider 04-06-2012 07:28 AM

Definitely a real nice car and the interior materials are great!

Savage_Messiah 04-07-2012 01:09 AM

Too squinty on the front end, steering wheel looks goofy. Am I the only one not enamored by this?

WiMiMc 04-07-2012 08:42 AM

I love it, ballpark price?

also since its on the same platform as the XTS which has AWD, would a turbo/twin turbo or supercharged 3.6 AWD Impala SS be possible?

BullittSVT 04-07-2012 11:15 AM

She looks good, wouldn't kick her out of bed.

NastyEllEssWon 04-07-2012 01:12 PM

meh looks like everything thing else out there on the road. good job gm for doing what everyone else is doing but 3 years late.

Blacdout96 04-07-2012 01:20 PM

So....Hyundai is even rubbing off of GM now?

DaSkinnyGuy 04-07-2012 01:27 PM

A whole new path besides the bowtie nothing on it looks like a gm product.
