Can be done in-car, too.

got a welder?

MyFirstZ 04-20-2012 08:57 PM

Yeah, that will be the final resort. I left..... We have to the tool i need at our other dealer so going to grab it on the way.

Never had this much of an issue before on a pilot bearing

Is it a bearing or a bushing?

doesn't the crank have a freeze plug in it? I thought the hydraulic/grease method could blow it out on our cars

I rented the blind hole puller from autozone to do mine, might pick one up to have around if I can find my $40 coupon for one:

It's a needle bearing.

No idea about the freeze plug though. The tool was picked up this morning, I'm on my way to finish the job

What's with the sigh? I would think you'd be happy to be done.

The sigh is for how much time was wasted on the pilot bearing. I am very happy it is done

Just finished completely. . tick master adjustable is in, adjustable torque arm is in, clutch in and it grabs like a mother.
