So you gonna wimp out on us again this year Nick??? I thought that you loved getting trophies at car shows! Oh, I forgot, that's only when you are the only car entered in your division...LOL...Have a great time at the shore!!

It just so happened that I was on a on/off/off/on cycle almost exactly, ever since we started going to it. I'm merely maintaining it .

NJFBOA will have a slim showing this year, with 2 of those cars sold, another member is having a 2nd kid this week, me gone, and I'm not sure about Brian.

Mark, you going? I might. I need to take a ride. Is there anything to do besides sit there from 9-4?

Anti_Rice_Guy 05-13-2012 08:50 PM

There are food vendors, t-shirt/toy/etc vendors and some local shops usually set up a booth.

Yes, I'll be there if it's a nice day. Like Nick said, there's food vendors and car related items for sale. They play oldies all day and have free give aways throughout the afternoon. Walking around to get your votes in for the awards takes some time so it's not just sitting all day. Be prepared for a hot day if it's sunny. It seems like every year it's 90 and hot. The parking lot is all asphalt and not much shade to be had, so bring a hat. I usually bring a cooler with plenty of soda and water. Hope to see you there.

TaKid455 05-15-2012 07:24 AM

you can walk into town and visit the little shops there. Similar setup to Somerville.

Euey02Z28 05-15-2012 08:59 PM

Yes, I will be there. Looking forward to meeting some of the members. I have not attended the show before but I here it is a big show. I will be bringing my 2002 blue Z28. See everyone there.

87irocNJ 05-26-2012 09:36 AM

t0rtur3d 05-26-2012 10:29 AM

Damn i would love to go, but my car will be spread all over my driveway tomorrow.

BonzoHansen 05-26-2012 02:00 PM

I got dragged into some baseball things, i'm out

The_Bishop 05-26-2012 09:47 PM

I'll be there, walking around.

The_Bishop 05-27-2012 05:31 PM

It was ok; a little emptier than usual, I guess the 30% chance of thunderstorms kept a lot of people away.

Tale128 05-27-2012 08:44 PM

i was there as well I think I actually saw 87iroc and might have even parked behind him, and was two cars down from mark68 i think

TaKid455 05-28-2012 10:23 PM

Count was around 250 or half of typical. Living close by I gambled with the weather and brought my gold 78 t/a that I have been building for quite some time. First time out . Would have been nice to take home a dust collector but the winner did well. Known him and his father since I was a kid. Teased him he only won because he was giving out free hair cuts. Owns jacks soiccor wiz in town. Good guy. Not bad over all. The mclaren and the lady showing it were not a bad pair.

Anti_Rice_Guy 05-29-2012 08:09 AM

I'll have to congratulate Scott next time he cuts my hair!
