What do you hockey fans think? Pittsburgh sends Staal to carolina, for Brandon Sutter, Brian Dumoulin and the 8th pick in the draft. He turned down a 10 year deal.

Philly sends JVR to Toronto for Luke Schenn! I like this trade, we have plenty of depth up front but not too deep on the blue line, not to mention JVR has been constantly injured. Plus, JVR was a huge cap hit,.

Few weeks ago staal said he wasn't negotiating with Pit. I'm guessing he got tired of being 3rd line center.

I am surprised Leafs gave up on a young, high draft pick, and were one of the worst defensive teams in the league..Brothers together in Philly and down Tobacco Road..only time will tell....Staal wiil prosper in Carolina...Toronto has lots of money to throw around...
