My new toy
My girlfriend and I have had these two old waverunners 93 and 94 yamahas and we got tired of them so I picked up a project waverunner for the winter so itll be ready next season.
Its a 03 yamaha gp1300r. It needs a new engine. Picked it up for 900 bucks. http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/z...74/yamaha2.jpg http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/z...a74/yamaha.jpg http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/z...74/yamaha3.jpg |
Ohh snap. Looks like the stalker is gonna have a new riding buddy. Looks like a fun project man

I would go to PWC Engine, in Long Island. Great guy to deal with and he knows his stuff. I had an XLT1200 (very similar engine) and we went to SBT for the first replacement (which lasted 2 years and blew a bearing apart) and him the second time. Looks clean as heck though good luck with it. Do the carbs once you're in there and you already have the exhaust out of the way. Good insurance IMO

LSX swap? Looks clean.

As was already stated, do NOT go to SBT, and I highly recommend PWC engine if you plan on installing the motor yourself.
Congrats, you've got a fun ski! Reinforce the pump tunnel, do the wave eater clips....and then prepare for the fun mods . |
Wow fuel injected, you got me I didn't know the Gp was.

Glad you guys told me about SBT, I was planning on buying from them. PWC it is!

SBT has a no fault engine warranty, but do you really want to keep installing new motors? No.
|
Pwcengine has a one year full warrenty as well.
