New Seats for the '68

2 Attachment(s)
Im headed to harrys u-pull in hazeltown pa it next week, I wanna get a New set of leather seats to replace my stock neck breakers. They dont have any corvetts & the few camaros I saw didnt have leather.

Any suggestions on what kind of car / seats would work well in the '68 & the 6 point bars. Az:moon:

P.S. Yes the bars swing out, im too fat to climb over them

My buddy's dad has a set of some newer model Mercedes seats in his Chevelle... talk about comfortable. Unfortunately he paid some asinine amount for them.

I saw a few mercedes & they looked very comfy.

Im going to need something a little sportier, id like corvette seats but they dont have any. Something to hold me in place when not wearing seatbelts.

I like my Jeg's sport seats (procar knockoffs). I'm a bigger guy and fit fine. They also have holes for your harness.

I would be very surprised if you found anything close to what you want/need in a junkyard... just my humble opinion.

I have a pair of new Kirkey "Pro Street" seats with covers I'm selling. Driver's side is already mounted on a 68 Camaro seat track. The other one is unmounted. I picked up leather 4th gen seats since I decided to go more pro touring than drag car. Let me know if you're interested.

I have the stock leather-electric with lumbar support from my 94 Trans Am . Im almost giving them away. Maybe you can get them upholstered for a couple hundred and have exactly what color you want. I think i put pics in the classifields on here a while back.

Car is stored a half hour away from me so I dont have a pic of my car with the drivers seat installed. I found a pic of them in a first gen on the web here though: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...Installed2.jpg . Mine have the cloth covers.
