ah ok, thats what i figured.
At first i was trying to think of a removable bracket,
that one is spot welded to the chassis.

I only have 98-02 camaro and 93-97 trans am ones I could cut off.

Thats it. I'm in need of them. A member on tech informed me the ls1 one's need to cut off and they need to be spot welded on. So as much as i didnt want out source the swap i need this done.

the ones on a 93-97 trans am/firebird look like the style you posted a picture of. They arent the 98+ style at least.

do you wanna find out if any 93-97 ones will work?

bigz28man 10-16-2012 02:09 PM

Im swapping front end out onto my 02 and putting a 93-97 front end on it

yes, lol, i know. i meant if the 93-97 firebird pieces would work on a 93-97 camaro front end. I think they would.
And do the pre-98 and post-98s really have much of a difference that cant be made up with twisting the bump stop up or down?

bigz28man 10-16-2012 03:57 PM

You know that's a question i never asked, if i had a loose bracket i could take it to the Z and compare.

are you going to the meet Saturday by any chance?
If so, ill cut them off and bring them, then you can take them and see if they fit. If they do, send me like 20 bucks otherwise ill get them next time I'm in the south or you can send them back to me.

bigz28man 10-16-2012 07:04 PM
