Grease Trucks 2/17
 

Yes I know its a Sunday, but the 18th is Presidents day so I hope not a whole lot will have work that following day. I haven't had a Fat Sammich in almost 4 years, and I've been out of the NJFBOA scene for far to long I just want to talk cars and ********, regardless of how cold it may be.

WEATHER permitting of course, lets do it like we used to? North crew meet up at the McDonalds on the Parkway Southbound in Clifton and convoy down to Rutgers to meet up with everyone around 9-10pm?

I'd love to ramp up maximum participation and call out all the dormant North Crew if your still in the area. F-Body or not come on out!

Thoughts?

I have work, but I'll try to be there and bring some peeps. Not meeting you in Clifton though :lol:

Hey I'm flexible on the date if it can garner more attention. I'll be in New Jersey from the 8th-19th! One of those weekends has been dedicated to Atlantic City however.

I may be down depending on the day. My 7-day work schedule is all sorts of fubared.

i would be game, i am super local so time is not an issue. last time i was at the trucks about 3 weeks ago, the parking lot was permit parking only. maybe a few rutgers students would be able to chime in on this and shine more light on the parking deal

EDIT: Just asked him. He said he thinks its open to everyone after 8 but isnt positive. He's gonna check and post in here tomorrow...

There isn't a guard at the gate or anything, just drive in, park somewhere out of the way & stand by your cars.

It may be 7 or 8 for New Brunswick meter parking, and 10pm for most 'lots; This one may be 11pm though. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about ParkTran.

Its been years since ive been over there. Well, since i moved back to NY. Id probably be down for a weekend night. Ill make the drive for a Fat ZBT

I would certainly try to meet up. Haven't had a "real" fat sammich in a few years.

being later in the day/night and on a weekend there shouldn't be an issue with getting in/parking.

yes thats what i meant. if i could get in id have no problem illegal parking but no beans on the autogate:cry:

What do you need it lift the gate? Hand power? Just saying, I remember street parking around there was a huge pain in the ass. Can anyone do a recon?

The grease trucks lot closes at 11. But there are other lots nearby if you were forced to move.

since its a sunday what about meeting around noon till...seeing as the weather would be nice around that time and not FRIGID like around 7pm...
