Yeah, it's all over the place; CNN, Yahoo, TMZ, blah blah blah.

Sounds like he, his uncle, and a friend went off-roading after the bar closed Saturday night, got stuck, had the car running & windows up to keep warm, and all 3 died of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. They were missing persons yesterday, and discovered dead early this morning. That was the "unofficial" report, I think.

At least the jersey shore cast made it a few seasons.

http://screencrush.com/mtv-buckwild-shain-gandee-dead/

His first problem was taking a Bronco mudding, second problem was going alone (especially without a winch), his third problem is not leaving the windows open in case of CO (I fear this all the time in a few of my friends cherokees), his fourth problem is he was not drinking enough to render him unable to drive at all.

All in all it's still ashame, this guy reminds me of one of my good friends alot..

my gf watched that show, she said a lot of them are really big into heroin. i wouldnt be surprised if after finding out the show was cancelled they went for some 4 wheeling and smacking and passed out and died.

It was some sort of reality-like tv show of a bunch of kids in West Virginia. The girls all drove expensive cars, just about everybody had very nice (expensive looking) houses and the show was super country... you know; it's just what you think of when you hear West Virginia.

They'd get drunk and go mudding in like a foot of mud.

And had break action shotguns. No sense.

I'm guilty of watching the show and could relate more to those folks than 'the shore' crowd. Don't think this kid was into the heroin bit but the first thing that came to mind was carbon monoxide poisoning as well...all 3 found in the same location, mudding= possiblity of getting stuck and enough alcohol in your system to render one to not think clearly.

One chick that was on the show was found to have dealt with heroin. She was arrested and charged. ...Also, the show wasn't canceled, in fact, it got signed on for a 2nd season

Pretty sure they had Cavaliers, Broncos, and old Rams. I didn't watch every episode, but did see a few. The one nice house that I saw turned out to be a rented house they were all renting for that summer.

Read that he was a trash-man, didn't own a cell-phone, and from the show he seemed like a pretty cool dude. Heard on the radio this morning that the tail pipe was under mud/water, and they passed out of carbon monoxide and died.

Alcohol, cold WV night, heat being on, v8 idle, exhaust pipe backed up. Bad recipe.

Thats pretty impressive that 3 people didnt think that was a dumb idea

1320B4U 04-02-2013 10:16 AM

Right. It was a bronco II, pics of it are on tmz after they hauled it out w/a dozer...old school bronco II w/the 2.9l.

They beat the hell outta that dodge ram, enough so that dodge should pay him for advertising....lol.
