If I would have stayed in the Military I would have been sent to Iraq to disarm IED's! Didnt think we would start to see them here as well. Its a freaking shame what this world is coming to.

I read a post that the gov was gonna say the "terrorists" used reloading powder, so that way they'll pass another bill to infringe on ur second amend of the ment. But its a load of crock.

Either way. Bad stuff. Don't need to drag theories in to it. |
As of the moment they supposedly have a suspect but their not saying if they have him or not

Case in example, the guy in the wheel chair missing half a leg, the media has no respect anymore, and or, we are all desensitized to pictures. |
I agree

Now this is just my opinion but, I would prefer the graphic pictures. This country tries too much to baby the people in general. If the people were to see the real pictures/videos, then they would be more likely to understand the full gravity of the situation. On the other hand, respect still needs to be paid the the individual/family and if they dont wish to have the images shown to the public then the media should respect that. |
Journalism is ****. I've noticed the blatant disregard for factual accuracy, and see too many instances of details purposely left out to spin a story in a certain way, or a rush to get something, almost anything, out there ASAP. Whatever is more likely to get pageviews and mouse clicks is what often seems to be published.
It's pretty gross. |

Very fine line between graphic realism, and just sensationalism gore. |
^ Agreed with both posts.
I saw a picture of a woman with all her fingers gone. After seeing the explosion and the aftermath, it made me realize that it was more intense than I originally thought. But you are correct, there is def a fine line. |

These photos are viewed as trophies but the parties guilty of these acts. The media needs to learn this. I read that Israel cleans up the scenes of terror attacks within three hours. Their reason is that every minute the scene is there, it's a trophy and an advertisement to more morons
