Anyone have a Panasonic hookup?

I'm seriously considering a new TV upgrade and I have my eye on the Panasonic ZT60 (65"). It's not out for sale yet but should be this month. Anyone have a rep or hookup?

If I pull the trigger, question is what do I do with the 65" Mitsubishi rear projection I have now? My dad is moving into a new place in June so I may give it to him but if he doesn't have the room, I don't even know what I would sell it for. New it was $5k but it's old tech now. Great TV for its time and will likely last forever.

Funny you should make this post (i don't have a hookup though). I just upgrade to a 60" sharp from an old 65" sony projection. Tv was over 10years old but i posted an ad on c/l for a free tv and got 81 responses in 24hrs. Appears ones mans trash is another persons treasure. A lot of folks don't have the cash for a big tv, moving out on their own, or fell on unfortunate times w/their old one crapping out (case of who i gave it to). I've seen folks post some projections for 100-200 bucks but i just gave mine away thinking even that would be a hard sell (esp since flatscreens are real cheap now). If you decide to do that you can get that overweight behemouth out quickly.

Thanks for the insight. I imagine I would get next to nothing for it since its dated tech and free would make it move quickly. Hopefully my dad takes it since I would hate to do that.

My dad bought a 36" one of those a while back. Man was that thing a beast.

I think it weighs one metric ton and barely clears door frames.

If my dad won't be taking it for his new place, it will be for sale....cheap. I know when he bought it, the unit was from their "Diamond" series or whatever. It was the TV to have when he bought it and I know from experience that these big units never seem to die.

Well I pulled the trigger on the new tv. Picked up a Panasonic ZT60 65" and it will be delivered on Thursday. My old tv and the AV cabinet are for sale on Craigslist. I got an offer of $200 for everything but if anyone here is interested, let me know soon.
