What do you guys use to clean up your PC?

Just wondering what Program do you use to clean up your PC? My Laptop is acting weird i use Avast and some files came up saying there was not path. But after i deleted a ton of files Avast says its running fine. I just want to make sure there is nothing harmful on here.

Thanks for the help

I just do a yearly or as needed format to start fresh.
Just backup all your files and pictures you want to save.

Spybot search and destroy, and Malwarebytes Anti-malware. Both are free and do a pretty good job at finding nearly everything.

Stay off the 'alternative entertainment' sites! ;)

Last time i had spybot it used so much CPU power and took me a hour to get rid of. I knew someone would say i was looking at to much **** lol I think i got rid of it and my PC is running fast now so i think i'm good i did five more scans using three virus protection software and nothing came up.

You don't need to install any resident protection. If you don't want resident protection, give Malwarebytes a shot. It's good and doesn't sit in memory.

Eset NOD32. I need not care what greasy links I click with this miraculous program.

Avast or AVG. Rest is not as good, although I haven't tried Kasey's suggestion.
