SBC Single Plane

Mine keeps puddling up with water, assuming its just a 4th gen issue, but any ideas to prevent it?

drill holes?

BonzoHansen 07-28-2013 11:27 PM

What is the problem?

Run a hose over the cowl and source the leak. I'm sure a well fitting hood would help as well.

liquid teflon on the bolts should help, unless you have a crack.

He is getting water in the valley under the runners, not in the engine. Better fitting hood and proper drainage would be the first things to do. A drain from the cowl with a hose would be easiest for now.

Oh, you mean like when it's raining. Yeah, not much you can do short of keeping the water out of the engine compartment.

Start with basic stuff like clearing drains.

Or there's this:

Get that water out.
