Turbo LT1 gets faster
On a whim, went to Etown this past Saturday.
Full street trim, not sure on weight, but I assume 3400 area or more. http://i704.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps57a29cbe.jpg No burnout, and basically a idle punch lead to this. http://i924.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1396726560 Almost a second quicker than last years racewars and a couple MPH faster. 8-) Gunning for Mr.Barney this year  |
Great pass! Any video from the run (or maybe I don't see it since I'm at work)? Any idea on the DA for Saturday? It was a nice cool day to make a pass.
|
No video, and not a clue about DA
|
Looks like it hovered around 20'. Not bad! What was the peak boost on the run? I bet the motor is getting broken in a bit too.

(stupid EBC is too sensitive) When I roll into it on local highways it will hold at 10psi (wastegate), so I would say pass was done at 10#s |
Its a turbo, da don't matter.

Density and air temp def will affect IAT's and therefore my timing curve. |
Not bad, curious on the efficiency of the converter. Congrats on a new best.

I was there Saturday, the DA on my Altronics was in the 705 range.
|
Gotta love the mph on a turbo car! Nice pass.
|
If you have intercooler than why worry about da?

That being said, the intercooler is a temperature relative, its all proportional to how well it works. That, and on a 1320 pass, a intercooler is just a heatsink anyway. A2A wise. |
