Did he cut strobe holes in it? So much debris in the front corner.

the lights are from a junkyard it seems(outside detroit). they are heavily damaged probably due to crash testing or mandatory destruction.

Selling as 2015 camaro headlights

I saw that on facebook (perhaps yours that showed up on my feed). I don't think the Seller has any clue that those came from a car that hasn't been released yet.

The headlights are no longer on eBay.
The drivers side headlight sold this afternoon.
And the 2 more damaged passenger side lights were most likely taken down by the seller once it was brought to his attention what they were.

Is it possible GM had a hand in this to build some excitement for the new model? Or am I being overly skeptical?

I think these got out unexpectedly.
I've seen the drivers side light powered up, looks pretty cool.
