Nice work. How was this year compared to prior? One of these years I will make it down.

Thursday Friday the weather was perfect... Fat guy/racecar friendly. Last year it was a little warm and I saw a few hot rods over heating. Saturday was a wash so we found a hole in the wall bar to do beers.

law enforcement presence was much higher too i think.

based on the online videos and such i see over the past 5 or so years, like burnouts in the street, does more cops every year really surprise anyone?

no, im not surprised, i think the event as a whole is coming to an end shortly. just to many bad things going on.

i think it has gotten much much larger than it previously was, where a small burn out was ok before, now its not since there is bumper to bumper traffic in front of you and 100s of people on the side walk, previously that wasnt an issue. but what do i know, i just hope it continues, i love this and the fall show more than christmas.

I was at OCMD for H2O (VW show) in 2014. It's probably way worse for H2O as they're ticketing people for camber and rideheight also. There's always a ton of accidents as well during H2O. I definitely get it.

2 things that need to change down there... 1- ******** that roll coal should be ticketed and fined. 2 - the ******** that grab 2nd and 3rd gear on the strip should be ticketed or arrested. There's no reason to do ricer fly bys on the strip. If you wanna do a little launch and lift no one gets hurt. Your doing 75 and a non cruiser pulls out of a side street your screwed.
I talked to a few guys and the tickets are super cheap with out points. **** $75 to do a burnout is a joke. Most of the guys this year only got warnings. Unless it was the 2nd time they were caught. There's plenty more to be said about safety down there, however money will determine if they continue with it. If the town is making money it will continue. Plenty of cops and business owners along with the property renters will want this to continue.

All that being said its the coolest car event that I've been to. And its 4-5 days long. The unplanned shows are better then the planned ones.

The H20 or whatever the VW meet is down there... people say they get towed for excessive camber/junk cars

my friend got probably 8 points worth of warnings in my car, cops pulls me and says you were pulled over a hour ago and before i could say i wasnt driving the hour before i had two tickets in my hand. i think a burnout is 1 point in md that transfers to nj, the fine is 73 bucks if i remember correctly
