do they make a float for the gopro
While jetksiing today my boy dropped my new gopro +LCD into the water and we couldn't save it ...
Now for gopro #2 I want to attach a float to it so if we loose it it won't sink we can just grab it. Only thing im finding are floating trap doors? any other kinds that attach with a tether or something ? thanks. |
Cut a section of foam pool noodle to tape to it, tie it to an empty water bottle, or just tie it off to the jetski

the mount I use is heavy. it says it will not float with that mount... wtf

https://theaccessorypro.com/collecti...ole-aqua-float https://theaccessorypro.com/collecti...rofloaty-float I made my own floating handle with pvc, spray foam inside, glued a couple end caps on, and used a handle bar mount for the camera. Slid a bike grip on and it looks legit. |

Not sure if the GeekPro accessories work. Check Amazon they have an attacment package. Attached is the float for a Geek Pro

Go Pro does sell a Float backing, its massive though, I'm sure theres a few other alternatives that you can home brew easily.

I ordered 2 tether wrist strap floaties that hold 7oz each so I will attach 2

I use the suction cup mount and stainless steel tether the whole mount my hood pin, then close my ski hood.
