Delphi/AC Delco cross reference

Probably a long shot asking here, but does anyone know how to get the Delphi part number from the AC Delco part number? I need just the pins from a connector to re-wire a seat from a Cadillac Escalade. I don't really want to just butt connect the existing wires since they are a smaller gauge than calls for by application since the drivers seat is moved from the memory module instead of through the switches directly. The passenger seat has 12 gauge wire to/from the switches/motors and I want to essentially copy that since I can't use the memory function.
I would just buy the pigtail connector from Rock Auto, but it is over $100 and I only paid $300 for the seats  so it would be an expensive experiment to try to get the pins off those wires.

Whats the ACD #?

What year escalade seat?

PolarBear 09-20-2016 08:51 AM

The seat is from a 2007

The part number is PT2255 or 19153175 for GM. It is a 6 way connector

It's $101.79 at Rock and the cheapest place I can find it! Not much info from what I found

I was looking on ebay, and I could potentially buy a passenger side wiring harness from GM for less than that one connector, lol. I just didn't know what the part number was.

Doesn't look like the sell automotive connectors at all, just like push pins and screws and stuff. Neither PN shows up in a search

I found some terminals, but real basic auto parts store stuff. I can't even find this connector at Mouser.com, where I buy my terminals and pins usually. I need the Delphi number to find it there, if they even have it

Punkmaster 98 09-21-2016 09:54 AM

If you go under gm there are tons of harness connectors

PolarBear 09-21-2016 10:42 AM

Not really, it is mostly clips and fastener stuff, there are less than 1500 listings and they are all really common items, and I don't want pigtails like most of the electrical connectors show, I just want the pins, I already have the connector. I don't want to butt splice to anything, I basically want to re-produce the factory passenger side harness on the drivers side so I can get the power seat working.
I did a search by the part numbers I have, they don't even come back with a reply.

You just need the metal terminals? We still have the terminal bins from when we were a GM Dealership.

If you take a pictures and post them I may be able to dig them up or get you a part number.

PolarBear 09-21-2016 03:39 PM

I will try to take it apart tonight, I am not entirely sure how they come out though. The TPA is very odd being in the front like that.

Yes, I just need the terminals, but I don't think they are something standard

PolarBear 09-21-2016 09:14 PM

Here are the pictures of one of the terminals. It is very strange since it has no tangs on it really like most other Delphi connectors.

The Rock auto description says 2.8mm pins and 30 amp

Stevoone 09-22-2016 08:01 AM

I believe I found them, one issue though. In the one tray of Yakazi terminals there are 3 terminals that look the same as the one you pictured. Only difference is the wings to clamp the wire. 4110 being the smallest and 4112 being the largest.

Wow, cool man. I definitely owe you a drink!

Looks like that is going to be a hard terminal to find. Could I buy some from you or where you work? I would only need the 4112's since I will be doing 12 gauge wire. 8 would be cool, I usually buy extra in case I screw up

Stevoone 09-22-2016 12:49 PM

My boss said $4 each. Our shop is in Burlington City, 08016. We have about 25-30 of them

If you wanted to try a GM dealer the part numbers are what I listed earlier and they are (were) in Terminal Repair Kit Yazaki Tray #9.

PolarBear 09-22-2016 12:58 PM

I am good with that, I don't really have any dealers near me. Could I call and give a CC over the phone and have them shipped to me? I am in Hamilton, so I COULD come down there, but I don't know when you're open

Stevoone 09-22-2016 01:55 PM

He said he could run it over the phone and I'll drop it in the mail if you PM me your address. My boss's name is Dave 609-386-0708. Just tell him Steve told you to call about the terminals.

or

We are here Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00. Ayres Automotive, directly across from Lucas Ford on Rt 130.

Just to clarify before you pay for anything. These are a guess based on the pictures on this page.

PolarBear 09-22-2016 02:36 PM

Yeah, no worries, they totally look like the proper thing and from doing a search they are the correct terminal. I definitely won't be able to get there during business hours, I will call and do it over the phone.

Thanks, will PM you

I can understand why a Polar Beer would need cooled seats and not heated ones.
