What is this?
Found this electronic box mounted on the rear trunk wall of a 3rd gen donor car(by the trunk latch pull down). I am not sure what it is/was. I have no need for it but I'm just curious.
Has a power and ground wire. The ground has a non-factory style terminal. The other wire is like an antenna wire that goes to a few "tuning"? screws, and then a mono RCA style plug into the box. No other wires or inputs/outputs. A search of the numbers on the tag turned up nothing. I don't know if its a stereo component, an aftermarket antenna, or a lojack type device. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...psdtcktbdx.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...psprih1h03.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...psq7cvttpf.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...psl6jk1xtf.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...pszbu5qbue.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...psnyg9wdyv.jpg |
FM/AM signal booster is my guess.
