Good! Glad to hear you're looking to turn the corner. Post a build thread in the Member's Projects section so we can see your progress!

Montes are cool. Always liked the gen 1 with that aircraft
carrier length hood. Lol

The first time I did an engine swap on a 70 I couldn't believe how deep the fan shroud was.

BonzoHansen 12-26-2016 08:40 PM

I hope it has swivel seats!

Same here with a 70. Pretty much a rubbermaid trash can behind the radiator

Blackbirdws6 12-31-2016 07:17 AM

Looks like the build will be fun, especially with all the room for activities.

Teds89IROC 01-24-2017 12:29 PM

I was working for Chevrolet and got one of the first Monte Carlo SS 454, before the plant went on strike. It was Dark Met. Blue with a White vinyl top. That car (back then) got more looks than ANY car I ever owned (and could hold its own with a set of 3:55 gears/ Reworked carb and distributor).

My favorite Monte Carlo, from Road Kill:

All chopped up and dropped on a circle track car frame.
