Large truck/trailer GPS apps
 

Do any of you know of or use a good app that routes for large/oversize/overly tall vehicles/trailers?

I've run into this problem at work a few times and am open to suggestions, be it redirecting a large truck to the parkway or issues with Parkway/Expressway in NY.

I have a pioneer avic 5200 nex and you can pick different vehicle profiles, like a bus or large truck. Don't know how well it works but it has height, width, length, and weight built into it that can be customized iirc.

VZ navigator has a commercial truck option. That helps us say off the parkways in NY.

We use the Rand McNalley 520. Check it out on Amazon. Soon going to ELD which has truck GPS built in.
