Back in the parts biz...

Since my social life is about as dead as this board I figured I'd look for some weekend work. I was hoping to get into Mavis but they aren't looking for any part time service writers, so I'm going to be hanging my shingle out at Advance Auto on Rt1 in Edison. Figure I will kill some time and make some extra coin. I want at least another 300 ponies under the hood of my R/T so have to pay for it some how. :)

I can't wait for the stories.

Is that the AAP just up from the Raritan River? I need wiper blades for the Z, may have to swing by one of these days.

It's on the corner of Rt 1 and Plainfield Ave. Right next to the Outback Steak House. I'm a weekend warrior there.

I don't think I've ever heard them say that before, but I was asked once who made the Trans Am. I told him it was Pontiac, and he said he didn't see it listed. :bertstare::bertstare::bertstare:

They do make you ask some stupid questions that can be avoided by a knowledgeable person. I can prolly match up with anybody on the crew but I was hired as a driver which means I get to cruise around in a brand new car hopping parts from A to B to maybe C. I don't mind at all. :)

On EBay they list Trans Am as a separate entity.

There's an issue with some of the computers giving wrong parts for that model/year.

Make sure he describes it to you so you don't get the wrong one.

The old man forgot. They threw me right on the parts counter this weekend when I thought I'd still be driving. I'll call it a draw. I told people I'm going to be a bit slow but gotta make sure the parts are right. No one had to come back AFAIK.
