Looking for these Fuses

Went to a service call today, found this... can't find hollow fuses anywhere, and there aren't any numbers on these.

Sometimes you can gauge how much their rated for by grabbing when its live and see how it feels.

They make fuse adapters so perhaps a smaller diameter copper pipe or even a cut of a grounding rod may do. Haha.

Friend of Friends house... recently purchased and passed a home inspection. Crazy the stuff you see out here.

i'm not an electrician or a genius or anything but i feel like this is bad advice.

similar to licking a 9v battery to see if its got juice. ezpz!

I've seem that before, unbelievable. Those hollow fuses are available in K,L,M and DWV

I feel like you should be selling him a new setup :lol: perhaps a window unit or two while he recovers from home purchase....

I do this to check car batteries at work.
