Vehicles

The internet is a dangerous place. I just joined a few more Facebook pages and I already found 2 more vehicles I want to buy  I found a '50 Power Wagon in NY that I would like, in really decent shape, and I just found a '70 Longhorn Chevy C20. I am actually going to work on buying the Longhorn once I get rid of my 69 LWB Chevy, I am just waiting for the guy to tell me when he can buy it.

I need to figure out how to retire early, like Jeff so I can work on cars for the rest of my life.

The long horn is the 8 1/2ft bed correct?

Not to sway you away, but there is a LongFoot, which im pretty sure is a 10ft bed, thats been sitting for ages in yard a few towns over from me. Think looks insane.

HOLY CRAP. I didn't know anyone made a bed longer than the 8.5 of the Longhorn. That's pretty cool. I actually love the 67-72 body style, and I want a Longhorn because they are all on C30 chassis whether it is a C20 or C30 (only available in C20-30) and I want to put a gooseneck hitch in it so I can get a 30-40 foot trailer to tow.

Yeah, they're bad assery. I definitely want one for my property when I move out west. Low gears and tall tires, something that I can crawl around in off road.

Buddy of mine had one but it basically rusted away and he had to junk it.

I hate hearing that

Jersey shore salt air and Jersey winters killed it.

If you want to off road, look into one of these. They are unstoppable!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I am looking at. I want the civilian version truck though
I want it to do work offroad, more than just wheeling.

My cousin has a 1950 Dodge M37 that he uses to get supplies and such back to his cabin in the Adirondacks. It's 5 miles of the absolute worst terrain you will ever encounter and that truck is an animal!

Love those things
