Install a UPPER STRUT TOWER BRACE-Does it actually help?
Thinking about installing a SLP Upper Strut Tower Brace on my 1994 Trans Am. Does it do anything that you can notice:shock:? I put one on my 1991 Formula and did notice a lot less cowl shake, but the 4th Gens are a whole different design.
It looks like a really easy install (4 bolts) and away we go. One more idea, what about the lower control arms, will it help with wheel bounce when you get on it from 1st gear? Thanks guys, getting bored and Winter is not even here yet. |
in my opinion, i would start with the lower arms and leave the strut brace on the back burner. I dont run one on my car, and i have not on any previous unless it came with the car.

Strut bar is most effective when it ties into the cowl area. I wouldn't waste the money on one that only connects strut towers

it sure looks cool though

Lca relocation brackets were the thing for wheel hop, right?
