Drag pack improvements

I'm just looking for some real time experiences with switching to a drag pack at the track. Times before and times after. Do they justify the price? If I'm running a 12.5 at the track with 17 inch rims with Nitto's, what kind of improvement could I see?

I think its a bit more nuanced than that. Are you having traction issues currently? Running out of gear or think it could be steeper? Those are some considerations I'd look into aside from the benefit of weight savings.

No traction or gearing issues. So I guess it would just be the weight savings.
