intake and engine

looking to sell edelbrock performer intake manifold
$75.00

350 cubic inch long block minus head need to be rebuilt had a spun bearing looking for $50.00

V 10-14-2004 10:17 PM

what style 350 is it? pre 79, 80-85, or 86-up? Factory roller cam? Is it still standard bore? I'm interested in it no matter what though. I would just need like 3 weeks to be able to come get it. -Paul

what part number is the intake? is it for the 86/87 and up heads or the earlier heads?
i may have a buyer for yah if you can get me the info.

later
tim

86Transam 10-16-2004 01:34 PM

the part # on the intake is 2101

V 10-17-2004 12:02 AM

part number 2101 is for "Chevy 262-400(non-egr)", that would also be for the 86 and earlier style heads, (will not fit 87 up centerbolt heads..that'd be pn 2104)

on that motor, bore and such doesnt matter, if its a rebuild it should say the bored out size on top of the pistons.
i just want to try to figure out the approximate date of the engine.
pre 79.. *edit*(oops duh, i need to check my typing) 2 (not 1) piece rear main, oil dipstick on drivers side
80-85... *edit* 2 piece rear main, oil dipstick on passenger side
86-up...*edit* 1 piece rear main seal
87-up had centerbolt heads
the roller cam engines have three bolt holes in the center of the intake valley

I could come get it sooner then 3 weeks, just let me know where you're located so i can see how far it is. Thanks and i'm in no rush for this info so take your time. -paul

pre 86 is 2 piece rear main, 86 and after is one piece.

the 0010 contains a high amount of nickle, nice strong 4 bolt main block, great for racing.

86Transam 10-19-2004 10:16 AM

the block i have is only a 2 bolt main
