Rear window defroster
Any ideas why my rear window defroster isn't working, besides the fuse? I checked the fuse.

you check the wires that attach to the rear window?
|
not working like the light doesn't go on, or not working like the light goes on but it doesn't heat up?
|
I dont know about 4th gens, but with third gens, when a wire is disconnected to the 3rd brake light mounted on the glass, it triggers the dfroster to come on, as sort of a heads up. Wierded the hell out of me before i figured it out...which unfortunately was after i tore up the car prety good. Maybe that helps, probably it doesnt, but o well

Light goes on the button for the defroster, yet nothing happens. Yes, I checked the plug on the window itself, and the fuse.
I'm stumped. ~Joe |
having the same problem, except instead of none coming on, like 3 assorted lines heat up...dont know what is the problem
|
biggs that is because the wires that dont heat up are bad...im not sure how to fix that other than a whole new hatch
and joe...that sucks  |
